Newark fire station is holding an open day to celebrate its 40th anniversary on the 18th July from 10am - 4pm.

A Leyland, one of Nottingham's oldest fire engines, will be at the event and there will be a visit from the air ambulance and Specialist Rescue Team.

10.00am Open Day starts
10.30am Firefighting display by the Retained section
11.30am Chip pan display
12.30pm Road traffic accident display
1.30pm  Fire Dogs display
2.30pm  Firefighting display by the retained section
3.30pm  Chip pan display
4.00pm  Air ambulance take off and open day finish

Also during the day we have various activities for the public including
Firefighters charity shop, dunk the firefighter, Accident prevention
unit, police unit, paramedic unit and a selection of Fire Appliances to
look around.
