Sunflower Run for Fun raises £10,000
The Beaumond House Sun Flower Run for Fun has raised close to £10,000 for the charity.
The evening saw 300 plus runners, sprint, stride or stroll for the Newark based charity which cares for the sick in the local community.
Organiser Wil Chung said the evening had been a “fantastic” event, and will be taking place again in 2011.
The Girls on Top – June, Tina and Sue – along with Sarah Perkins, and Stacey Winter took part in the event.
The night, which took place at the Newark Showground, saw women run 5km in a fun run and was supported by Inspired by Print, Saks of Newark, SunPro, Newark Showground, LA Fitness, and 102.6fm Boundary Sound.
