Newark Canoe Club opens its doors this weekend for the main event of their season offering an opportunity for people to come along to the club and try canoeing or kayaking. There will be a small charge to paddle and all kit is supplied. The weekend offers an opportunity to anyone wishing to try the sport, get more information about it or just to see what it is all about. Newark Canoe Club are based at Thurlby Lake which is located behind the old Swinderby airbase off the A46. The doors open at 10.00am on both days.
