Myles bowled at Madison Heights in Maldon Essex this weekend against the top bowlers in England at U19 level in the country playing qualifiers on saturday and knock out on sunday. Qualified reasonably easily in 24th place with a 1175 total over 6 games thats just below a 196 average but Myles was dissappointed as his first block of 3 was 665 which was excellent but had a below par 510 in the 2nd block. Unfortunately Myles went out in the first knock out round having been in front all through he bowled an open in the last frame of a best of two games series to let his opponent in to leave Myles frustrated to say the least. Next week he will be appearing in Nottingham for the Lincolnshire Under 16's for the last time because he will be over age next year having played in this category since he was 10. The week after that he will be trying his hand in the adult national championships in Nuneaton against the best bowlers in the country where he will be tested to the full but if he can play to his best who knows, in April he will be going to Torquay for another Junior Team England tournament before the Junior National Championships again in Nottingham in May. He may enter some other adult tournaments before May but will have to wait for entry forms.
