School hops, skips and jumps to victory
(Back to news) School hops, skips and jumps to victory The Grove school from Balderton, were handed the award yesterday, after teams took part in various sports including indoor javelin, standing long jump and hurdles. The events took place at the Harvey Hadden Sports Complex, and saw the teams complete is sports designed to test speed, coordination and agility. The George Spencer School from Broxtowe came second, behind the Grove School, with South Wolds School, for Rushcliffe and Portland School for Bassetlaw coming joint third.
