Three groups handed money from fund
(Back to news) Three groups handed money from fund![]() The foundation has handed £750 to help promote the first Newark Brass festival which is to take place in January of next year. The festival, which will take place around the town and at the Palace Theatre, will include performances from the Royal College of Music Brass Ensemble. Also handed money was the 1st Newark Brownie pack plan to visit the Conkers National Forest Centre in Ashby-de-la-Zouch with the £100 they were handed. The final group handed money from the foundation was Newark Jazz Festival, who will spend their £450 on 200 umbrellas for children to decorate and show on the umbrella parade during this year’s festival.
