Lincoln to London with no stop in town

Rail Commuters will soon be able to avoid the town, as a direct link between London and Lincoln is being created.

Currently anyone from Lincoln wanting to travel to London has to change at Newark Northgate, but that could soon stop.

National Express East Coast, who runs Newark Northgate station and the east coast mainline, took over the line from GNER in 2007, and has pledged the link to the capital from Lincoln will be running by 2010.
