National award for College Student

A former Newark College Student has been handed a prestigious award.

Seventy year old Brian Sadler, has been handed a City and Guilds Medal of Excellence for his outstanding cabinet making.

The Medals of Excellence programme is run by City and Guilds, the UK’s leading awarding body, and recognises the exceptional efforts people do to make themselves stand out.

Mr Sadler enrolled at Newark College in 2005, and received his award at a ceremony in London, on Monday.
