Case adjourned for ex-council workers
(Back to news) Case adjourned for ex-council workers Nottingham Crown Court has adjourned the case of two men who admitted to defraud the council. Former Newark and Sherwood District Council employees Clifford Sanderson and Steven Dudley were due to be sentenced this Monday. At the last minute the case was adjourned until May the sixth after no counsel was available at the time. Mr Sanderson admitted to conspiring to steal from the council between the first of January 2001, and the twelfth of May 2006. Mr Dudley, has also admitted to the same charge, between the same dates. The two men are currently on bail.
