Collingham family to view Nimrod



The family of a Collingham Man who died in an RAF Nimrod crash have been informed that they will be allowed to examine an identical aircraft.

Flight Lieutenant Steven Johnson, who was 38, died in Afghanistan in September 2006.

Oxfordshire coroner Andrew Walker, order the nimrob to be flown to RAF Brize Norton in Lincolnshire, so that the family can see the planes workings first hand.

The viewing of the air craft will take place on the 6th of May.
