(Back to news) Bin Lost? That's £40 please say council![]() From later in the year, people who have had there bins stolen, damaged or have lost theirs, will have to pay unto £40 for a new bin. The Tory led council has said that they are no longer prepared to give residents bin for free. A standard 140-litre bin will cost £20, larger 360-litre bins, for families of five or more, will have to folk out £40 for a new bin. The council will still hand out free bins if they are old, worn out, or damager during collection.
