Generator stolen in Caunton



An electric generator, worth £200,000, has been stolen from Caunton Pumping Station.

Police believe the 29.3 tonne generator would have been towed away by offenders and may not have looked suspicious to passing motorists.

They are appealing for anybody who saw it being towed, and in which direction, to contact them.

The generator was stolen between 4pm on Friday 14 March and 7.30am on Sunday 16 March. Offenders had forced a padlock on the main gate to the site.

The generator is white in colour with the words Energyst Rental printed on the side in black.
