Newark school boy up for national award
(Back to news) Newark school boy up for national award![]() Sixteen year old Alex Fountain, was excluded from school several times, but renewed his enjoyment of education when he joined the Prince's Trust. After his interest in school increased, he is now in line to gain five good GCSE's and has been award the bronze Asdan award. The award is a joint venture between The Prince's Trust and the Royal Bank of Scotland, with the bank committing £5m in 2004 to support the trust over five years. A short film about Alex will be screened at the Prince's Trust and RBS Celebrate Success final which will be held in Leicester Square Odeon Cinema, London.
