3D bronze Newark map unvailing Left to Right - David Nicholson (New Castle Rotary), Graham Hogget (New Castle Rotary), Barry Lockett (sculptor), Keith Girling (Nottinghamshire County Councillor), and Juliet Sunderland (Building Better Communities)  The 3D map was created to celebrate 100 years of Rotary around the world  The map also includes brail so that the blind and partially sighted can navigate there way around the town. The map was cast in Birmingham and transported to Newark for the official unveiling on Tuesday 27th March. The map is designed with specially widened streets so that the blind can read the brail and different roofing styles replicate buildings that where key to events in Newark during the civil war.
