Boundary Sound - Who are we?

Boundary Sound Ltd was formed in early 2004 to provide a new and exciting service for Newark and Sherwood.

Our aim to to deliver a positive local radio service, which we felt wasn't being provided from other organisations.

Our radio station reflects the tastes and needs of local people, and supports local businesses who would not have otherwise had the opportunity to promote themselves and their services.

Our team is made up of local people dedicated to achieving this goal, including artistic, commercial and technical staff. The key to our success so far has been our understanding of Newark, its values, and culture.

The long term aim is to gain a five year broadcast license, which will allow us to help develop commerce, culture, and community within Newark and Sherwood.

Boundary Sound were granted their Community Radio licence in March 2008, which allows the station to broadcast to Newark and surrounding area for five years.
